Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator for an on-site opening in San Diego, CA. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and laser cutting equipment to manufacture precision parts for highly regulated industries.

This full-time role offers stability, day/evening shifts, and weekend options. Candidates should have 3+ years of CNC experience, strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, and a solid track record with multi-axis machines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining and/or CNC laser cutting experience.
• Proficient in CNC setup, operation, and basic program editing.
• Experience with multi-axis machining and laser cutting equipment.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Configure fixtures, vises, rotary tables, and workholding devices for machining and cutting operations.
• Manufacture components to required dimensions and tolerances from engineering drawings.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments and document results.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
