Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC seeks a CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will develop CNC laser and forming programs, build laser nests from the schedule, and collaborate with software vendors and the production team to troubleshoot issues.

The role requires basic G-Code knowledge, MetaMation familiarity, and experience with lasers or press brakes is a plus; strong communication and self-motivation are valued. 1 year of CNC programming in manufacturing is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience creating CNC laser and forming programs.
• Basic G-Code knowledge and MetaMation familiarity.
• Experience with lasers/press brakes is a plus.
• Strong communication and self-motivation.
• Detail-oriented with good attendance.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC laser and forming programs.
• Create laser nests based on the production schedule.
• Provide feedback for cost reduction through design changes.
• Review laser nests for material utilization.
• Ensure forming programs meet safety requirements.
• Coordinate with software manufacturers and the production team to troubleshoot errors.
• Follow standard procedures and safety policies.
• Communicate issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
