Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a CNC Laser Cutting Setup & Programming Specialist to own the full lifecycle of precision laser cutting. You will translate drawings into programs, set up fiber and CO2 systems, and ensure in-process quality through metrology.

You will refine cutting parameters by material and thickness, document settings for repeatability, and collaborate with engineering for safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years programming and operating laser cutting machines.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and CAD files to understand tolerances and materials.
• Create or refine cutting programs using G-code and CAD/CAM tools.
• Set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce high-precision parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Inspect first-article and production parts with precision instruments.
