Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to translate shop drawings and production files into router-ready programs, set up materials, and optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling. You will run jobs, monitor performance, inspect output, and coordinate with the production supervisor to resolve issues while maintaining safety in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC routers in a sign fabrication setting.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and cut sheets.
• Knowledge of sign materials and fabrication practices.
• Basic computer literacy and tidy file management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience lifting 50+ lbs in a production environment.
• Fluency with tool selection and cutting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Translate shop drawings and production files into router-ready programs.
• Stage and secure materials, set feeds, speeds and tooling.
• Run jobs, monitor performance, and fine-tune settings.
• Inspect output and coordinate with supervisor for quick resolution.
• Support the broader workflow with fabrication, paint, and assembly.
• Own preventive care: bit changes, cleaning, lubrication, dust collection and waste handling.
