To fully support the mission of Northeast Iowa Community College through the functions of teaching, service and scholarship. To provide effective instruction to ensure academic programming attains student learning outcomes and prepares students for successful transition into the workforce or transfer to a post-secondary institution. To carry out assigned responsibilities to ensure academic programs are sustainable and aligned with accreditation standards.
Specialized training of at least 3 years (6,000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience as a CNC programmer/machinist in both the operation and programming of CNC Machines. Must meet minimum experience and education requirements as outlined by the Iowa Code sections 260C.47 and 260C.48 and the Northeast Iowa Community College Quality Faculty Plan.
Successful performance of duties requires competency and a comprehensive understanding in the programming and operation of various CNC manufacturing equipment. Skills taught include:
