Educational Minimum Experience:Start Date: This position supports the Manufacturing, Construction, and Transportation Pathway and is available to start in the spring semester; 16-week classes begin around mid-January. Primarily looking for candidates who are available to teach daytime weekday hours.
Hours/Location: This in-person position is a .5 FTE. Hours and location are based on enrollment and departmental need. Modality is IN-PERSON.
Salary: Beginning in the fall of 2024 the starting hourly wage for all part-time faculty is $40 per course hour of teaching. Part-time faculty are also compensated for an additional 45 minutes of time for each hour of instruction to cover office hours and prep time which is equivalent to $70 per hour. This starting hourly wage of $40 an hour is non-negotiable unless market conditions dictate otherwise.
