Boyd Corp in Woburn, MA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair production equipment, perform CNC-related maintenance, and support electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks on-site.

The role requires troubleshooting and preventive maintenance following schedules and drawings, with involvement in equipment upgrades and inspections. Strong knowledge of CNC and hydraulic systems is essential.

Formación

• Strong background troubleshooting and repair of factory mechanical equipment.
• Experience in CNC equipment and hydraulic presses.
• Ability to read drawings, diagrams, specifications, and instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Will utilize expert level trouble shooting skills with hands on approach to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical failures.
• Will perform trouble shooting and repair of CNC equipment and presses by working with the machine manuals and manufacturers support.
• Will work from maintenance schedules, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, prints and written and verbal instructions.
• Locates and diagnoses complex equipment failure and ensures timely, corrective actions.
• Execute the preventive maintenance plan according to the PM schedule.
• Participate on special projects, work on equipment upgrade and installations.

• Makes routine, periodic or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Performs all functions of Maintenance Mechanic B.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
