Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred (mechanical degree, apprenticeship, certificates).
• Minimum of 3 years of horizontal CNC machining experience.
• Experience adjusting feeds and speeds, changing cutting tools, and ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications.
• G-Code and M-Code programming knowledge essential; Siemens 840D controls knowledge preferred.
• Analytical, mechanically minded with strong math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal milling machines, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Load/unload components and assist crane operations as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints or CAD files and translate them into high-quality products.
• Measure and test finished products, verifying tolerances up to .0002 inch.
• Cross-train on other CNC VBMs to support area workload.
