Viper Northwest, Inc. is seeking a skilled Vertical Mill Machinist in Albany, OR. The role involves programming and operating Haas CNCs to produce parts to blueprint tolerances, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

Required: High School diploma or GED, 5–10 years machinist experience in a precision shop, and multi-axis proficiency. Preferred: CAD/CAM programming, ERP and data collection software; strong math and measurement skills; MS Windows competency.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required; associate degree/trade certification preferred.
• 5–10 years' experience as a Machinist in a precision machine shop; Level 4 or 5; multi-axis experience required.
• Preferred: CAD/CAM programming experience; basic computer skills; familiarity with ERP and data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to tolerance based on blueprint requirements using CNC machines.
• Set up mills and lathes with fixtures, tools, and offsets; ensure correct tooling and alignment.
• Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample pieces; maintain quality standards and safety.
