Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a frame assembler to prepare and assemble a variety of frame models to precise quantity and quality standards for upholstered or wood furniture. You will sort parts, align pieces, and fasten components across multiple assembly steps.

Responsibilities include following specification sheets, using hand and pneumatic tools, and placing finished frames onto pallets. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience assembling frame parts according to specs.
• Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools safely.
• Attention to quality and quantity standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort cut frame parts and place on assembly table.
• Assemble parts following the specification sheet.
• Hammer in tee nit and shoot with staple to secure.
• Glue connecting wood parts with a brush or squirt bottle.
• Use a rubber mallet to hammer parts together.
• Use pneumatic staple gun or pneumatic screwdriver to attach wood parts.
• Screw legs to frame using pneumatic screwdriver.
• Slide completed frame from table to place on correct pallet.
• May perform other duties/special or non-routine assignments as instructed.

Performs operations to prepare and assemble a variety of models of frames and/or frame sub-assemblies to quantity and quality standards for upholstered or wood frame furniture.

Major Accountabilities/Critical Responsibilities

1. Sort cut frame parts and place on assembly table and/or assembly clamp.
2. Use specification sheet as guide to assemble cut parts.
3. Hammer in tee nit and shoot with staple to secure.
4. Glue connecting wood parts with a brush or squirt bottle.
5. Use a rubber mallet to hammer parts together.
6. Use a pneumatic staple gun or pneumatic screwdriver (depending on frame) to attach wood parts together.
7. Screw legs to frame using pneumatic screwdriver.
8. Slide completed frame from table to place on correct pallet.
9. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
