Job summary

Fives Intralogistics is seeking a field service technician capable of installing, repairing, and qualifying CNC machinery at customer sites. The role requires operating equipment, producing service reports, and explaining safety procedures to customers.

Travel will be extensive (domestic and international opportunities), with a strong emphasis on on-site work in customer facilities and on-site support to ensure equipment meets specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License; Ability to obtain a passport and credit card.
• May have to read and understand international print symbols.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, or alter independently Fives machines (mechanically, electrically, and CNC) or associated equipment in customer's facilities.
• Operate machines and associated equipment to demonstrate or qualify equipment and observe qualification runs.
• Notify Tech Support when deviations occur and write complete service reports.
• Instruct customer's personnel to operate, maintain and/or repair machines, emphasizing safety precautions.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites; maintain regular attendance and adapt to on-the-road schedules.
