Job summary

Davalyn Corporation seeks an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines at customer facilities in the designated region. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues to maximize uptime and performance.

You will read schematics, work independently, and communicate clearly with customers about status and recommendations.

Qualifications

> Minimum of 5 years of CNC machine tool field service experience.
> Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC milling machines and CNC turning machines.
> Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
> Experience reading electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, machining centers at customer facilities.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance, alignments, spindle/bearing/tool changer repairs, and pallet system servicing.
Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose and repair equipment.
Troubleshoot Fanuc CNC controls and support customers with performance and technical issues.
Communicate equipment status and preventive maintenance opportunities to customers.
Complete accurate service documentation and manage service calls within territory.
Represent the company professionally and build strong customer relationships.
