Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer in the Midwest region. The role involves installation, engineering, repair, and upgrading of equipment and systems. We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, from entry-level to seasoned professionals, and will provide appropriate challenges accordingly.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales support to clients, including technical and operational training, testing, adjustment, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, and installation of CNC machining equipment, peripherals, and upgrades.
• Plan and coordinate installation, repair, and upgrade activities. Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers, and work to prevent future operational or service difficulties.
• Work independently and collaboratively, coordinating work activities and priorities.
• Inspect machinery and components, communicate with equipment operators to identify problems, and determine whether issues are mechanical or human errors.
• Analyze information to identify root causes and recommend or perform repairs, upgrades, or other corrective actions.
• Advise management and factory engineers on equipment defects, customer satisfaction, product performance, and potential improvements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or engineering technology.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a machine tool company.
• Knowledge of Fanuc machines and CNC engines.
• Understanding of PLC systems and diagrams.
• Ability to operate forklift and manual lifting equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel 30%-50%.
• Work primarily on the road.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Full-time position.
