Our client is one of the nation’s leading machine manufacturers and they are looking to hire a Service Engineer for their Central Midwest region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on CNC Machinery and field service experience.

Location: Central East Region (remote position that will require 50% travel to the following states: PA, OH, WV, NY, KY)

Required Skills And Responsibilities

• Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or onsite
• Create and update documentation of technical information
• Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
• Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines
• Build strong customer service relationships with customers
• Manage difficult customer situations positively and solicit feedback to improve service
• Travel up to 50% to visit customers

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools
• Experience working with manufacturing machines
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence ladder diagrams
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Compensation

• $90,000-$111,000 annually
