Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical certification in CNC Machining Technologies preferred; will consider relevant experience (minimum of 3 years).
• Must be experienced and confident in setting up and operating Fiber Optic CNC Laser machines.
• Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can-do metric to imperial conversions.
• Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run jobs on the CNC laser and the break press machines based on work orders.
• Program the CNC machines as required by the shop drawings and the work order specifications.
• Ensure all tolerances and dimensions are correct.
• Select and load correct materials per the work orders.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure parts are coming out correctly.
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs).
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
• Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.
