Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience operating a CNC fiber laser cutter.
• Working knowledge of laser cutting software (CypCut, LaserCAD, or similar).
• Ability to read technical drawings and basic blueprints.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and routine troubleshooting.
• Ability to stand and work 8–11 hours per day.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software (flat pattern, DXF/DWG import).
• Prior experience in architectural or commercial sheet metal fabrication.

Aufgaben

• Operate CNC fiber optic laser cutting equipment to fabricate sheet metal components to spec.
• Set up and run jobs using laser control software, including loading programs and adjusting cut parameters.
• Read and interpret DWG drawings; assist with importing/adjusting files for cutting (Fusion experience a plus).
• Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality; flag and correct.
• Maintain accurate production records (job counts, material usage, downtime).
• Collaborate with shop supervisors and engineering on job scheduling, nesting.
