Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking a dependable CNC Laser Operator in Anderson, SC to operate laser cutting equipment and produce precise metal parts according to production specifications. This role requires loading materials, monitoring machine operations, and ensuring parts meet exact dimensions.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints and technical drawings, have experience with sheet metal fabrication, and troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
Detail-oriented with focus on precision.
Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components.
Load materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs.
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications.
Verify cut dimensions and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
Identify equipment issues, cutting defects, or material discrepancies and report them accordingly.
Follow production schedules and maintain consistent workflow.
Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow established safety procedures when handling sheet metal and operating machinery.
Work with production team members to meet quality and output goals.
