Job summary

Knowles Precision Devices is seeking a Fabricator to form sheet and structural materials according to engineering drawings. You will operate CNC laser cutters, shear, punch presses, bending equipment, and an overhead crane to fabricate parts for tooling fixtures and assemblies.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, reading work orders and blueprints, selecting materials, performing maintenance, and keeping the workspace clean.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience or equivalent training in fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and understand manufacturing documents.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must have good math skills and be able to read/use a ruler, tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ability to define basic/routine problems, evaluate and establish facts and seek solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Read and understand a work-order packet and other documentation to determine work and processes.
• Read and understand blueprints and Engineering drawings.
• Obtain correct material identified in the work order.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding non-conformances and completion of tasks.
