Job summary

Malones CNC Machining Inc is seeking a Fabrication Engineer to improve sheet metal fabrication, forming, machining, and assembly processes on a hands-on manufacturing floor. The role requires strong expertise in tooling design, CNC programming, and process troubleshooting to resolve production challenges.

The engineer will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Tooling teams to develop efficient methods, support NPI, and ensure manufacturability per customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering in sheet metal environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex formed components and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for fabricated sheet metal components.
• Provide technical support to fabrication, forming, machining, and assembly operations.
• Review drawings, specs, and customer requirements to ensure manufacturability.
• Analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase quality and productivity.
• Support new product introduction and production launches.
