Job summary

Knowles is seeking a Fabricator to form sheet and structural materials per engineering specifications. The role involves reading blueprints, selecting materials, and operating CNC laser cutters, shears, punch presses, and bending equipment on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.).

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of fabrication experience, strong math skills, and the ability to use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of fabrication experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing documents and drawings.
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurement instruments (ruler, tape measure, calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Read work-order packets and blueprints to determine required operations.
• Identify materials from work orders and prepare them for fabrication.
• Operate CNC laser cutter, shear, punch presses, bending equipment and overhead crane.
• Maintain machinery and perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Complete paperwork and keep the work area clean and organized.
