Job summary

RAM Mounts is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Machine Operator in Washington to set up and run CNC laser cutting, press brake, and related equipment. You will ensure parts meet specifications, support multiple areas, and help maintain quality and safety across fabrication operations.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn multiple fabrication processes as the business grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• CNC laser cutting and/or press brake experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and measurements.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn multiple fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment for sheet metal and tubing; support welding as needed.
• Set up and operate CNC press brake and other fabrication machinery.
• Set up and operate drill presses for drilling, tapping, and countersinking.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Verify materials and dimensions; monitor production for quality and efficiency.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain 5S and clean, safe work area.
