Job summary

JGM’s Coatesville steel fabrication shop seeks a CNC Fabrication Equipment Operator to set up CNC equipment and run parts to drawing in a high-volume, non-climate-controlled environment.

You will inspect work, log production metrics, and coordinate with fitters and welders while following safety standards and PPE requirements. OSHA 10 certification is required or obtainable during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related machine operation (3+ preferred) in fabrication or high-volume production.
• Hands-on time with CNCs, press brakes, punches, shears, or comparable machinery; cross-training encouraged.
• Basic blueprint/print-reading capability and comfort with measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC equipment (press brakes, saws, punches, shears, plasma/laser cutters) to spec.
• Run parts to drawing and tolerance, inspect frequently, and dial in offsets or parameters.
• Log production counts, quality checks, downtime and scrap to keep schedule on takt time.
