Job summary

JGM in Coatesville, PA is seeking several experienced Machine Operators to set up and run production equipment in a high-volume, non-climate-controlled shop. The role involves CNC equipment, press brakes, saws, punches, shears, and plasma/laser cutters, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will read blueprints, perform quality checks, handle materials, log production data, and coordinate with shop leads.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience; 3+ preferred.
• Willing to cross-train on different equipment types.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, work orders, or production specs.
• Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
• OSHA 10 certification required or willingness to obtain during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to fabricate steel components.
• Inspect parts against drawings and tolerances throughout the run.
• Load, unload, and stage raw steel and finished components safely.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE in the non-climate-controlled shop.
• Maintain production logs and downtime/scrap tracking accurately.
• Coordinate with shop leads and teammates to keep the line running smoothly.
