Job summary

Corvid Technologies is seeking a Fabrication Machinery Operator for Goldbug Manufacturing to produce high-precision parts using CNC equipment such as waterjets, laser cutters, and press brakes. The role requires reading mechanical drawings and inspecting finished parts for accuracy.

The candidate should have at least one year of experience operating fabrication machinery, plus the ability to read blueprints, perform precision measurements, and meet physical demands of loading materials.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
• Experience with CNC-based fabrication equipment.
• Strong math skills for tolerances and dimensions.
• Able to meet the physical demands of operating fabrication machinery and loading/unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC-based fabrication machinery to transform raw materials into high-precision parts.
• Perform machine calibration to ensure equipment produces parts accurately.
• Optimize nesting layouts to use materials efficiently and reduce waste.
• Load raw materials into fabrication equipment and unload parts following processing.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints to understand part dimensions and fabrication requirements.
• Use calipers and micrometers to inspect finished parts and verify accuracy against specifications.
