Job summary

Advanced Conversion Technology, Inc. (ACT) is seeking a Machine/CNC Operator to machine components per drawing dimensional and tolerance specifications using CNC water jet, vertical and horizontal machining centers, and LPKF available within the Machine Shop.

The candidate will read drawings and procedures, perform basic math, and maintain accurate data entry. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to Safety and quality standards in a military-defense environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNC mill machining experience desired.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures and bills of material.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to multitask.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter, transact and retrieve simple data as well as the ability to learn to program with Mastercam.
