Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group Corp. is seeking an Engineer Technician to program and operate CNC machines, study blueprints, and develop tooling for production. You will work with CAD/CAM tools, review labor and material requirements, and help identify improvements to quality, safety, and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role shifts Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays for production needs, requiring accurate labor standards and collaboration with engineering. Experience in Lean environments is valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting/design/manufacturing technology or equivalent.
• Lean environment experience and CNC programming on lathes and milling centers.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines per process sheets.
• Study blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select fixtures and tools for mills and lathes.
• Set controls for speed, feed, depth, and cut angle.
• Develop component drawings from assembly drawings.
• Perform cost estimating and assist engineering changes.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve processes.
