Job summary

Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC lathes, vertical mills, and EDM equipment.

You will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production goals through preventive and corrective maintenance. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CNC machine tool operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience maintaining CNC machine tools (lathes, vertical mills, EDM equipment).
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC lathes, vertical mills, EDM machines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues.
• Troubleshoot machine tool failures using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic software.
• Repair and maintain machine spindles, ball screws, tool changers, servo motors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls including Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or similar systems.
• Calibrate machine accuracy and alignment to maintain tolerances.
• Perform machine leveling, geometric inspections, and precision alignment procedures.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation in the CMMS system.
• Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend critical replacement components.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality departments to resolve issues.
