Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an EDM Operator to own a dedicated EDM cell, setting up wire, sinker, or pop EDM equipment and running parts to exact specs. You will inspect parts, document results, and hand off cleanly to the next shift.

The role includes basic grinding as needed, 6S discipline, and TPM duties. Night or weekend shifts offer premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years running wire or sinker EDMs with working mastery of GD&T.
• Blueprint reading, planning documents, and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate EDM equipment to produce precision components.
• Machine and verify parts against drawings and customer requirements.
• Perform in-process and final checks; document pass-down notes.
• Carry out routine TPM and basic maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Coordinate part and material flow to keep the cell productive.

Step into precision: a day in this roleOn your shift, you’ll take ownership of a dedicated EDM cell—setting up wire, sinker, or pop EDM equipment, running complex parts to exacting specs, and keeping everything humming with routine TPM and 6S discipline. You’ll inspect what you make, document it accurately, and hand off cleanly so the next team can hit the ground running.
