Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, FL is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician Rough for the 2nd shift (M-F, 2pm–10pm). You will operate CNC and EDM machines, follow engineering specs and maintain production flow per quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNC/EDM experience, basic math, and ability to work in a site with export-controlled technology. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in CNC/EDM machine operation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Export license must be obtainable for export-controlled technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC, EDM machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensure the correct procedure is displayed on the production system screen while performing the operation.
• Plan and lay out work, prepare components or semi-products, and monitor related hand-stock.
• Use lifting devices to remove/install products and monitor maintaining good documentation practices.
• Clean and maintain machines and equipment for organization and safety.
• Read and understand engineering drawings to work orders and assist with tooling setups and changeovers.
