Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an Internal Posting-Utility Operator-1st DDL to machine doors to product specifications and maintain quality standards. The role involves operating a 5-axis CNC router, conducting quality inspections, and adjusting tooling per data.

You will mentor trainees, follow safety guidelines, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and forklift/LOTO certification are required, with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area.
• Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with others.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Willingness to perform varied tasks and learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5-Axis CNC Router Machine and perform tool changes.
• Set up cutting tools and make offsets based on inspection data.
• Mentor and train new associates in your assigned area per instruction of Group Leaders.
• Resolve quality issues with corrective actions with QA staff.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Be able to perform or learn all jobs in the DDL.
• Follow safety guidelines including LOTO procedures.
