Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Decatur, IN is seeking a CNC-Controls-Robotics Technician on 2nd shift to maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment, PLCs, and robotic cells used in wood structure production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and train operators while coordinating with supplier OEMs to resolve downtime. Experience with Allen-Bradley/Beckhoff PLCs, Fanuc robots, and related networks is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in mechatronics, robotics, or CNC equipment.
• 4+ years in manufacturing electrical work or CNC environments.
• Familiarity with safety standards (ANSI/RIA15.06, OSHA) and lock-out-tag-out.

Responsibilities

• Attend training to operate and maintain purchased equipment.
• Setup and operate CNC machinery and robotic cells for wood parts.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley/Beckhoff) and Fanuc robots.
• Read blueprints/schematics and operate HMI screens.
