Position Summary

We are seeking a talented CNC Programmer responsible for programming CNC machines to ensure precise manufacturing of parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC operations knowledge, technical drawing interpretation, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Fabrication Manager.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for Trumpf machines using Trumpf Boost software.
2. Set up CNC programs for Trumpf machines to produce precision parts.
3. Program TruMatic and TruPunch CNC machines for punching various gauge sheets.
4. Produce components for switchboards and electric vehicle charging panels.
5. Collaborate with engineering to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.
6. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and adjust machine settings accordingly.
7. Operate CNC punch machines, load programs, and adjust tooling for efficiency and accuracy.
8. Verify and troubleshoot CNC programs to meet quality and production goals.
9. Ensure safety guidelines are followed during operations.
10. Continuously improve programming and operation techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience programming Trumpf Tru Tops, TruTops Boost, or Amada AP100 machines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
