Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Burner Operator for the Alpharetta, GA area. You will set up, operate, and program burner systems to produce quality parts safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include torch setup, CNC programming, material handling, and final packaging with proper labeling.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliability, and the ability to work overtime on short notice. A focus on precision and safety is essential in this 2nd shift position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Must pass physical examination (vision, hearing, mobility).
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders and interpret paperwork to plan orders by thickness and priority as directed by supervisor.
• Handle materials on the floor using appropriate handling equipment and prepare skids/dunnage as needed.
• Set up burner torch tips based on material and desired edge quality.
• Program CNC according to work order instructions and manage slag removal and part stacking.
• Package finished parts, note unloading requirements, wrap and label skids with order numbers and PO numbers.
• Move finished orders to staging area and perform other tasks to support production efficiency and safety.
