Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Burner Operator for the 2nd shift to set up, operate, and program burner systems for quality, safe production. You will process work orders, handle materials, and prepare parts for finishing.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to work overtime, and a reliable work history with a strong attention to detail. The position emphasizes safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment with benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed with short notice.
• Must pass vision, hearing, and mobility physicals.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality inspection focus.

Responsibilities

• Work Order Processing: review paperwork and map order placements on the table.
• Material Handling: locate materials, use hooks, magnets, or spreader bars and prepare dunnage.
• Torch Setup: select tips based on material type and desired cut edges.
• CNC Programming: program CNC per work order instructions and clean slag from parts.
• Final Processing: package, label skids, and note unloading requirements.
• Cleanup: remove scrap and move finished orders to staging area.
• Additional Duties: assist to support production efficiency and safety.
