Kloeckner Metals - Americas is hiring a Burner Operator to set up, operate, and program burner systems for safe, efficient production. You will review work orders, handle materials, and ensure proper torch setup and packaging of finished parts.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities include CNC programming per work orders, slag cleanup, and ensuring proper labeling and skid preparation for transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be reliable with a consistent work history.
• Must be detail-oriented with precision in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret paperwork to map order placements on the table.
• Operate burner systems and perform basic programming tasks.
• Set up torch tips according to material type and cutting edge requirements.
• Program CNC according to work orders and manage waste/slag cleanup.
• Package finished parts and label skids with order numbers and customer info.
• Maintain cleanliness and move finished orders to staging areas.
• Support production safety and efficiency as needed.
