Caterpillar Inc. in Channelview, Texas is seeking an Automation Technician-2 to develop CNC machining programs and maintain automation systems. You will support NPI programs, improve safety, reduce cycle times, and contribute to quality improvements on Turbofab CNC equipment.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, hands-on CNC/PLC programming experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will coach operators and help implement process improvements across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with automated CNC and cutting machines.
• 3–5 years’ CNC, PLC, or programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop offline CNC machine programs and maintenance routines.
• Troubleshoot CNC and cutting process problems; provide solutions.
• Coach operators and support process improvements on CNC/ cutting programs.
