Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a Production Technician for the 1st shift in Liberty, SC. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and verifying CNC and assembly equipment in the Sprinkler Department, following established programs and specifications.

The technician will diagnose issues, support new product launches, and maintain records, while adhering to 5S and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of calipers, indicators, voltmeters, ring gauges and other gauges for set-ups and improvements.
• Blueprints, materials, specifications and drawings familiarity.
• Knowledge of Total Predictive Management and Total Process Reliability concepts.
• Ability to read pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Knowledge of standard safety practices and PLC programming/troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workplace and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Work from established programs and setup instructions to define tooling and machine settings.
• Recognize and report programming/operation errors; collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Support new product launches including first article, RFP and RFS stages.
• Diagnose issues and adjust machines, tooling and offsets to realign operations.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Suggest tooling applications and sequence improvements for new production needs.
• Perform first piece quality checks with precision measurement tools.
• Maintain records on machine maintenance, parts, downtime and process logs.
• Identify improvement opportunities and manage related projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe area per 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
