Job summary

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a CNC Apprentice Trainer to mentor Machinist Apprentices in machining fundamentals, G-code interpretation, and precision measurement. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in our shop.

You will guide apprentices in setup and operation of manual and CNC tools, GD&T, blueprint reading, and NIMS certification projects, empowering them to become skilled craftsmen who produce high‑quality components for critical industries.

Qualifications

• Advanced mathematical skills and measurement interpretation.
• Ability to teach entry-level machinists how to read measuring devices.
• Ability to teach blueprint reading and shop drawings.
• Ability to teach proper procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor Machinist Apprentices in machining fundamentals and quality components.
• Develop apprentice knowledge in manual and CNC operations.
• Instruct GD&T and ensure proper application in manufacturing.
• Support troubleshooting and process improvements in the shop.
• Promote safety standards and lead a culture of continuous learning.
