Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a CNC Apprentice Trainer to mentor Machinist Apprentices in fundamentals of machining, setup and operation of manual and CNC tools, and quality inspection.

You will teach GD&T, read blueprints, troubleshoot machining issues, and guide apprentices toward NIMS certification projects while upholding safety standards. Qualifications

• Advanced mathematical skills required for machining and metrology work.
• Ability to teach entry level machinist apprentices how to read and understand measuring devices.
• Ability to teach entry level machinist apprentices how to understand blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to teach entry level machinist apprentices proper procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor Machinist Apprentices in machining fundamentals, safe work practices, blueprint reading, G-code interpretation, and quality of machined components.
• Develop apprentice knowledge in manual machining, CNC machining, and related processes.
• Provide instruction on GD&T and ensure proper application in manufacturing operations.
• Support apprentices in troubleshooting machining issues, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements.
• Promote and enforce safety standards and use of cranes and lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
