Position: CNC 5-Axis Mill Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Location: Mebane, NC

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented CNC 5-Axis Mill Operator to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC milling equipment to produce high-quality parts and tools.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and safety procedures.
• Make major adjustments to CNC programs and setups as required, collaborating with Engineering on best practices.
• Operate multiple production machines and use manufacturing reporting systems.

Required Competencies

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to read blueprints and process plans.
• Proficient in G & M code; able to prove out first run programs daily.
• Good eye-hand coordination and agility.
• Self-directed with team collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends or off-shift as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, carrying, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, walking.
• Repetitive motions like typing and eye/hand/foot coordination.
• Occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years CNC milling experience.
• Experience with machining, cutting, and lean manufacturing preferred.
• Domestic travel may be required; schedule varies, overtime may be needed.
