Job summary

Keller Technology Corporation in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Machine-Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time, day shift. You will perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including 5-axis tooling, and ensure cleanliness, safety and uptime across the shop.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, CNC/5-axis experience, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years or more maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on CNC and/or 5-axis machine tools.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with computers to create and maintain PM schedules and issue purchase orders.
• Good organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records (ISO, expenses).
• Willing to travel infrequently for training, trade shows or special jobs.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance for CNC machines (5-axis tooling) and related equipment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, quality and safety.
• Follow schedules to optimize machine performance and availability.
• Respond to unexpected machine issues and coordinate parts or external service as needed.
• Manage chip bins, coolant maintenance, and general shop upkeep.
• Repair or diagnose a variety of shop equipment and maintain maintenance materials.
