Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for the 1st shift. The role focuses on operating CNC grinders, mills, lathes and other machines to produce precision parts in a clean, climate controlled environment.

You will set up, program, and adjust CNC equipment while reading blueprints and process sheets, ensuring parts meet strict tolerances and quality standards. Health benefits and 401(k) are part of the package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining certificate from a Trade School preferred or acceptable work experience in lieu of schooling.
• Must meet the definition of a "U.S. person" under ITAR, as set forth in 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Okuma controls as plus
• Experience with G & M codes preferred
• Good technical math skills (shop math, geometry, and trigonometry)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines per process docs.
• Interpret blueprints, travelers and op sheets to meet specs.
• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections with micrometers and calipers.
• Adjust offsets and reprogram controls to maintain tolerances.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document changes in ERP.
