Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Grind Operator (CBN Huffman) on the 2nd shift. The role requires operating and setting up a range of CNC machines with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work under the Manufacturing Supervisor to follow blueprints and process sheets, while maintaining tools, offsets, and documentation. A competitive benefits package is offered with paid holidays and 401K plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining certificate preferred or acceptable work experience.
• Must meet ITAR U.S. person requirements.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Okuma controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis milling, VTLs, horizontal lathes, creep feed, and 5 axis grinders.
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, travelers, and operation sheets to meet specifications.
• Verify conformance of finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Ensure quality and safety by following process docs and QA procedures.
• Maintain and adjust machine offsets and tool wear as required.
• Update control charts and ERP data; comply with AS9100/NADCAP requirements.
