Mountains Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead, CA seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse in Medical Surgical, Emergency, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On-call required.

Required: High school diploma or GED; California CNA certification; CPR certificate. Preferred: one year CNA clinical experience in acute or skilled care settings.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Preferred one-year clinical experience as a CNA in an acute care or skilled nursing facility.
• Current State of California Nurse Aide certification.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients under supervision.
• Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Deliver care in Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility.
• On call required.

SUMMARY

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured, convalescent or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On call required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred one-year clinical experience as a CNA in an acute care or skilled nursing facility.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current State of California Nurse Aide certification.

Current CPR certificate
