Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, offers a weekend Warrior CNA role with a defined weekend schedule and a $3.00 hourly premium for hours worked during weekends. This role supports a strong clinical team and provides path to growth within First Atlantic Healthcare.

CNAs provide activities of daily living, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility, monitor patients and communicate any concerns while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality

Qualifications

• Must graduate from a state-approved CNA program and be on the Maine CNA Registry.
• Maintains current CPR certification and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and hydration.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety; respond to call lights promptly.

An every weekendscheduling option to CNAs newly hired in the Nursing department on a limitedbasis. Employees must make a commitment to enroll in the program for twenty-six(26) consecutive weekends (six months). During this period, the employee willbe scheduled to work a minimum of three (3) twelve (12) hour or two(2) sixteen (16) hour shifts per weekend.

Forthe purpose of defining this program, the “weekend” begins on Friday at 6:30amand ends on Monday evening at 7:00pm.

ACertified Nursing Assistant’s Job Responsibilities:

• Provides foractivities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feedingpatients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients;and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assistancewith showering/bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Maintainspatient stability by checking vital signs.
• Provides patientcomfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients;answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observationsof the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documentsactions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains workoperations by following policies and procedures.
• Protectsorganization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Serves andprotects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards,hospital policies and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements.
• Updates jobknowledge by participating in educational opportunities, readingprofessional publications, participating in professional organizations,and maintaining licensure.

CNA Requirements:
