Job summary

Atlas Health Group at West Deptford is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA will assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and daily activities to support residents in short-term and long-term care.

Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program is required, with good standing in the state registry.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients and nursing staff.
• Prior experience as nursing assistant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene and adaptive equipment.
• Responds to call lights promptly and ensures accessibility.
• Reports changes in residents’ condition to supervisor promptly.
• Positions residents for meals and serves trays, assisting with feeding as needed.
• Completes all required documentation prior to end of shift.

Atlas Health Group at West Deptford, an excellent skilled nursing facility, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). We provide a wide range of nursing care and rehabilitation services for both short-term and long-term care residents. Atlas Health Group at West Deptford has professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate team that cares for our residents.

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assists residents with resident care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment
• Ensures call lights are within reach of residents and answers call lights promptly
• Reports all changes in residents condition to supervisor as soon as possible
• Assures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals and serves meal trays as well as assists with feeding as needed per individual plan of care
• Completes all required documentation prior to end of shift
