The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide skilled care to the veterans and dependents who reside at the NYS Veterans Home at Montrose, including bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, transfers, ostomy care, and daily living tasks.

Current NYS Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required. This is a permanent, full-time position with generous benefits, shift differential, and geographic pay adjustments in a 252-bed Skilled Long Term Care facility.

Qualifications

• Current New York Certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled care to veterans and dependents (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene).
• Assist with transferring residents, care of ostomies, and ROM to prevent contractures.
• Support health care team in treatments and observations and document daily living activities.
