Job summary

The Margaret E. Moul Home is seeking a reliable Resident Transporter/Van Driver to join our team. This role ensures safe and timely transportation of residents to appointments within our community. CNA certification is required, and a sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

First shift is 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate medical appointments and schedules. Benefits include retirement options, tuition reimbursement, and more, supporting safety, reliability, and community service.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Safely assist residents using wheelchairs and other mobility equipment.
• Occasionally kneel, squat, reach, twist, crawl, or climb.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vans and transport residents within designated routes and schedules.
• Assist residents with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents to coordinate transportation needs.
• Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly to management.
