Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of safety rules for operating automotive equipment.
• Must have knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures.
• Must pass motor vehicle screen.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate van or bus on scheduled routes with emphasis on safety.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist residents and passengers in and out of the vehicle.
• Provide safety briefings to residents and passengers.
• Document vehicle mileage and usage; report any incidents.
• Prepare trip, accident and incident reports as necessary.
• Assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies when needed.
• Contribute to staff development and census-building initiatives as directed by management.
