Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is hiring a Nursing Unit Technician (CNA) to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. You will perform tasks ranging from vital signs to patient transport and clerical duties, ensuring quality care.

Requires active NA-C certification in WA and BLS by date of hire; prior acute care experience is a plus. Compensation includes an hourly wage and benefits, with a bonus up to $1,500 for eligible CNAs.

Qualifications

• Current NA-C Nursing Assistant certification in Washington (WA).
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of basic patient care techniques for assigned age group.

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and report changes in patient activity and/or symptoms.
• Assist with patient transport to bed, gurney, or wheelchair; move belongings and specimens as needed.
• Answer patient call lights and determine nature of problems; respond within scope or obtain resources.
• Assist RNs and providers with wound care and procedures as directed.
• Adhere to attendance, punctuality and dependability; complete tasks within set timeframes.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
